Buzz is that Aamir Khan has given the baton of ‘Dhobi Ghat’ to his wife Kiran Rao. Being her debut directorial, Aamir wants the limelight to focus entirely on Kiran and for that the actor-producer has handed over the film’s first look launch responsibilities to her.

Surprisingly, it also means that Aamir will not be present for the event which will be held on 17th Nov and in turn he has decided to let Kiran undertake the promotional activities herself. It is believed that Aamir is happy to sit back and watch Kiran enjoy her moment.

According to some sources, Aamir wants everyone to know this is a Kiran Rao film. There is a lot of curiosity about ‘Dhobhi Ghat’ and Aamir wants Kiran to answer the media about it.

Over this, Aamir confirmed to the sources that Kiran will indeed launch Dhobhi Ghat’s first theatrical all by herself, because it’s essentially her film.
